ALL custom shortcuts placed in other folder

Bug Description

Since installing Ubuntu 13.10 ALL my custom shortcuts/folders have disappeared and just the shortcuts are placed in the "other" folder. Not sure if this is a problem with drawers or alacarte.

Running /opt/extras.ubuntu.com/drawers/bin/drawers -d -f ~/.local/share/applications/Applications.desktop from terminal gives me a terminal full of errors but the old drawer does open up albeit without the custom made icons for them just blank white icons.
The first part of the log has been recorded in the attached log file up to line 346 is what shows in the terminal prior to trying to select to open a folder
When trying to select one of the custom folders the drawer just closes but line 346 of the log is what is shown in the terminal.
This only happens to custom made folders/icons NOT system folders in a drawer like "System/Accessories/Internet etc"
