Dragonflow uses loopingcall, which uses greenthreads. However, if a deployment wants to use real threads, that isn't possible.

This is especially true in NB database drivers, which should be usable in any constellation.

I think the best solution is to make loopingcall greenthread-agnostic. But this has to go through the oslo folk.
