Bug Description

I have a tariff plan wit a limited traffic quota per month but the month does start with the 1st.

It would be very helpful to have a configuration option to set the start of the month day.

This isn't easy to do but is a planned feature (https://blueprints.launchpad.net/download-monitor/+spec/configurable-start-of-month) for a future release: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/download-monitor/+spec/download-monitor-ng-2.

This feature has been implemented in BitBudget.

Download Monitor is no longer supported or under development. It has been superceded by BitBudget (http://lazyteq.github.com/bitbudget/) which is faster, more reliable and has more features. BitBudget is also free software - licenced under the GNU GPLv3. It is currently pending review for inclusion in the Ubuntu software centre.
