Bug Description

The new download-demo-data needs some fixes

- It should use curl in place of wget on OSX

- Even better would be to use rsync so that files are not downloaded unnecessarily.

Quick fix made to use curl. Leaving open because it should be rsync.

Can rsync be used via http? Doesn't it require ssh or the like?

rsync can't do http, but zsync can.

Closing now, because zsync is used when available. Could consider running rsync server in the future.
