Bug Description
The minimize function currently returns very little information regarding the result of the optimisation. It would be helpful if the iteration count, final gradient, final functional value, number of active constraints etc. could be returned.

Good point.
Unfortunately many optimisation algorithms do not provide much information, but I should at least return that little bit of information back to the user.
