Short tooltips appear corrupted

Apparently when the title of an item in Docky is too short (in pixels, not in characters) the tooltip displayed is corrupt, i.e. it's not even a blank rectangle but artifacts appear and it's completely unreadable. This glitch also looks the same until Docky is restarted.

The test case is simple: Create a directory anywhere with short names of varying pixel widths and drag it onto Docky to add it.

This seems to be pixel-based and not character-based: The tooltip of a test directory I created named 'iiii' (four i's) appears corrupt, as well as 'mm' (2 chars), but 'aaaa' and 'mmm' (4 and 3 chars) appear fine. Also, right-clicking on this item produces a normal context menu.

This happens for any dock, and in any screen position. In my particular case I have a main dock on the bottom and a smaller dock on the left side.
