Bug Description

I noticed today that Gmail stopped checking my inbox. The icon on the dock was full color and said it was checking for messages. The logs show that it had not tried fetching the Inbox atom feed for a long time, but was still checking my other atom feeds.

Here is where it last checked, and found a message:

[Info 13:10:37.270] [GMailAtom] Fetching Atom feed: https://mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom/Inbox
[Info 13:10:37.274] [GMailAtom] Fetching Atom feed: https://mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom/Docky
[Info 13:10:37.278] [GMailAtom] Fetching Atom feed: https://mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom/Docky-Bugs
[Notify 13:10:37.490] SMS from ... - From: ... (SMS) <...@txt.voice.google.com>

That was 1.5 hours ago.

If I manually force it to check (twice, due to another bug) it starts working again.

In other words I still don't know why the thread 'died' without resetting its status as not running, but with this new code that is not an issue at all.
