Bug Description
I'd very much like to see a workalike for the gnome menu for docky so I can launch arbitrary applications quickly without having to use gnome.

I think that gnome-do is our current application launcher offer and it does a good job ;)
Maybe in that project we should explore an alternate interface for launching applications. But I think it is outside the scope of Docky. Throwing it back to Robert to see if he agrees with me.
