Bug Description

I branched docky from launchpad and tried to open the solution "Docky-2.sln" in MonoDevelop. I got this error:

Could not load solution: /home/matthew/docky/Docky-2.sln. Could not set property 'Policies' in type 'Solution'

Load operation failed. Could not set property 'Policies' in type 'Solution'

Opening individual projects works fine (although MonoDevelop can't find the other referenced projects, of course).

I am using:
Ubuntu 9.10
MonoDevelop 2.0+dfsg-2ubuntu3
docky r531

You need a newer version of Monodevelop. I believe the one in the karmic repos is still too old. If you're on karmic, try this PPA: https://edge.launchpad.net/~directhex/+archive/monoxide

Changed in docky:
status: New → Invalid

Also, when you branch docky's code, run ./autogen.sh && make _before_ you open the .sln with monodevelop. This is because a couple of the files that monodevelop references are created by autotools. You only have to do this the first time (or any time you rebranch). After that, you can actually run docky from within monodevelop for some real-time debugging.
