Cant reorder plugin dock items by dragging on the dock

There is no way to re-order plugins, short of removing/re-adding them in the order you want. You should be able to click/drag to re-order (somehow).

Should icons within the same provider be re-orderable?

Icons within the same provider *are* reorderable, its just moving providers around that isnt implemented.

Sorry Chris, my report is awful and does not state what I meant. Thank you for making them re-orderable in the prefs dialog though. :-)

What I was referring to is reordering by dragging icons on the dock. Think docky1.

It would be great if i could re arrange the icons so that my trash docklet was at the far end, but it is impossible as i can not move it beyond my bookmarks.

@Widitor: You can manually set the order by disabling all plugins and enabling them left-to-right. They will appear on the dock in the order in which they were enabled.

@Robert: Yes, that's a solution but it sounds more like workaround to me. Any plans to acutally implement that? You can move application items around the way you want to the same should be the case for the Standard Docklets shipped by Docky
