When launched from terminal, I get this:

Also, I've had the program crash - within the first ten minutes of my using it.

Linux Mint 19 x64 Cinnamon (and having switched to Docky from Plank because Plank started overlaying full-screen applications).

I'm also on Linux Mint 19 x64 Cinnamon but experienced no crashes, only an error notification pops up everytime I start Cinnamon.

I have abandoned Docky. It seems unmaintained. Instead I use a Cinnamon panel that I have made transparent at the edges. It is not perfect but it is not bad. One can get an idea of how to do achieve such a thing by looking at the 'SimpleDock' theme that is downloadable via Cinnamon's built-in theme downloader. Ensure that you tick Cinnamon's panel option 'allow pointer to pass through the edges of panels'. I am unsubscribing from this bug report.
