Bug Description
Ubuntu 11.10, compiz 0.9, I am using compiz's Expo plugin to keep all of my windows neatly separated, but unfortunately, I cannot seem to switch between windows on different workspaces by clicking on the program icon, or choosing the window to invoke.
You can try this for yourself, just make a custom X session to load dockx instead of gnome-panel or whatever else, and place the windows in different workspaces. soreau of #compiz on irc.freenode.net said it could be because DockbarX doesn't support viewports, but there was a Web Upd8 article claiming DockbarX does indeed handle them.
Could it be that DockbarX isn't entirely compatible with compiz 0.9's Expo plugin, but works in compiz 0.8? It would be neat if this issue was resolved, so I don't have to zoom out and view all of my workspaces any time I want to view a window not on the screen.
Closed, DockbarX switching between windows in multiple "Desktops" or "Viewports" depends on Desktop Wall being enabled.
