previews with awn

On ubuntu with lxde and compiz, there are no previews with awn and compiz (compiz previews disabled). Is this intentional? If it is, it would be nice to add clickable win7-style, includng previews for minimized windows. I propose making a screenshot with "scrot -ub" as the user minimizes the window and showing that as a preview.

No, it's not intentional. Did you select "show previews" from dockbarx preference dialog? Do you have kde compability plugin and it's option "Support Plasma Thumbnails" activated in CompizConfig?

Compiz 0.9 should support previews for minimized windows. We'll have to wait for that one.

I have previews with AWN and GNOME on Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10. I use AWN from their testing repository if that makes any difference: https://launchpad.net/~awn-testing/+archive/ppa

Yes, previews works for me with awn as well and for most people, it must be some special circumstances here.
