Bug Description

When i run dockbarx or I try to add it at the panel, give me the following error:

The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_DockBarXApplet". Do you want to delete the configuration?

I can choose to delete or not delete, but it's the same: DockbarX doesn't start.
I use Ubuntu Lucid and I have installe DockbarX from http://ppa.launchpad.net/dockbar-main/ppa/ubuntu .

Whould can it be? Should I give more informations to you?
Thanks for your works,
Alberto.

This is probably a duplicate of bug #606568, but run dockbarx in window so and post the results so that it can be confirmed.

I suppose it's the same, sorry.
Should I have to install zeitgeist?
Should I have to install zeitgeist only from ppa?

Installing zeitgeist will do, waiting until tomorrow when dockbarx x.0.39.6 hits the ppa also works. I recommend you install zeitgeist from the ppa though, because of the features it brings dockbarx (well, at least if you work with gedit or gimp or other programs that has good zeitgeist support).

This just started happening to me today, after dockbarx was updated.

Installing zeitgeist fixed it, thanks.
