Got a SIGSEGV while executing native code. This usually indicates
a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries
used by your application.

I can confirm this exact issue as well. By the way, SCIM does not seem to have this problem and I am wondering if the issue really lies in SCIM?

lok0919 (lok0919) wrote :

Is not the problem of SCIM, since I'm using gcin(http://cle.linux.org.tw/trac) right now.
And I just switch back to SCIM and everything works well again.

This is going to be a bit difficult to debug, since none of the developers can write Chinese as far as I'm aware! It might be useful to get a more full backtrace from the crash, however. Could you install a bunch of dbgsym packages (see [1]) - at least:
gcim-dbgsym
libgtk2.0-0-dbgsym
libgtk2.0-cil-dbgs
libglib2.0-cil-dbgsym
libglib2.0-0-dbgsym

and then get a backtrace [2] for us?

I added the following:
gcin-dbgsym
libgtk2.0-0-dbgsym
libglib2.0-cil-dbgsym
libglib2.0-0-dbgsym

I didn't add this package, because it's not in apt.
libgtk2.0-cil-dbgs

The debugging info still looks the same...
