GNOME Do 'End' of result list animation is too slow

When you entered a search term in GNOME Do that can be explained on different ways, you get the nice result list showing all the possibilities.

If you want to select the option at the end of the list you can either go there by using your arrow keys or by pressing the 'End' key on your keyboard.

As soon as you've pressed the End key you have the right option selected and if you will, you can press enter to activate it. However, the selector is still sliding down at that point, the item that is selected in GNOME Do's main window isn't selected in its result list yet.

This can cause confusion.

The animation should be made faster to visually sync the both areas of GNOME Do.

Yup. I see this behaviour too (with the nouveau theme). We probably
shouldn't be animating these jumps at all - this applies to pg_down,
too.

This bugges me as well.
Another solution might be scaling the animation speed by the number of list items, so that it always takes eg 1sec. That would give some optical feedback of what's happening. (might look fancy if the speed behaves like a sine)
But it's hard to imagine the usability.
