Bug Description

It seems the delicious plugin can crash core with an uncaught XmlException. This is therefore a core bug.

The plugin bug is reported as bug 337739.

Original report:
At unexpected times, Gnome do crashes with the following error message.

Unhandled Exception: System.Xml.XmlException: Document element did not appear. Line 2, position 1.
  at Mono.Xml2.XmlTextReader.Read () [0x00000]
  at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.Read () [0x00000]
  at Delicious.Delicious.UpdateBookmarks () [0x00000]

Pity that the error message does not mention the name of the offending file. Perhaps a corrupt configuration file?

At first sight, this looks like bug #326394, but the error message is different.

had the same problem. The error message suggested that the problem was with the plugin that worked with bookmars from del.icio.us. Disabling that plugin "resolves" the issue.

I encountered the same behaviour. But I think, the crash only occurs whithout a working internet connetion. Gnome-do crashed without connection to the internet (and the activated del.icio.us-plugin of course) - as soon as I connected to the net, gnome-do started fine again, even with the activated plugin.

On the computer that was crashing for me, it always has an active internet
connection.

Yeah, I had to stop using my delicious plugin because it was crashing all the time. I have intermittent internet sometimes, so that may well be the cause.
