Docky in text mode isn't wide enough

Bug Description
When I go to type twitter messages, if I only have a few windows open, I run out of space very quickly. Even the 140 characters overstep the bounds. My text wraps below my visible screen.
When summoning do, if not in dock mode, I think a minimum width might help overcome this issue.
