Bug Description

i'm working on intrepid ibex and the ppa testers packages (0.7.95.1)
You can add starters to docky by dragging them on or by typing the command and pressing the add(+)button [2] in the bottom left corner. this works fine for application starters but not for files or folders.

with folders, once added by dragging you have no chance to open them again, a left click apparently does nothing (well, it does execute the first action -> copy to clipboard). right click -> show/open does not execute any action (no terminal error either). added by the add button you can open the folder again by right click -> open.
with files sometimes it seems to work, sometimes not - i cannot see a pattern there.

a sidetopic of this is, that the default first action is "copy to clipboard". this makes no sense to me, default action should be "open" - should i open a new bugreport/blueprint for this?

I'm certain that we fixed this. Did you ever build from source? Are you positive you are using the latest test version in the PPA?

Ok, I understand what is happening. Another example of using the copy-to-clipboard action more than open. Will pin open for IFileItem for the time being...

This bug is still valid for the most recent version of the PPA.

The fix may work for all items which are runnable, but for every other item, such as music or pidgin contacts, the default action is still "Copy to clipboard".

This severely degrades the usability of Do, even more so for Docky, since there not even a selection is shown and one wonders, why the items don't work any more...

BTW, it would be nice if "Fix Released" was tagged with the release version, so no one has to guess.

Also the default option for Google Maps too, I was gonna file a seperate bug but this will do, incredibly annoying. I tried to explain to my wife what she had to do to make it work and she just said meh I just won't use it anymore, great :-/
