Bug Description

I implemented a script that creates locate databases for all my external disks. When invoked without args the databases of all disks currently connected are updated. With an argument all databases are searched using 'locate'. Turned out to be really handy! What I miss is a gui.

Gnome Do and its Locate plugin would perfectly fit, but it only searches the default database /var/lib/mlocate/mlocate.db. Interesting new usecases could be solved if a list of custom database files could be configured! Updating the databases would be done externally (by a script like mine, a custom cron job or similar).
As a bonus the locate option --basename should be configurable with a checkbox (my script always uses this option).

The search results would also include files on disks that are not currently connected and therefore cannot be opened or something. But often it is valuable just to know that a file exists!
