OpenSearch plugin does not load the default available search plugins in Lucid Lynx

On a fresh install of Lucid Lynx, when using the OpenSearch plugin in Gnome-do, the search plugins installed by the default Firefox install are not listed. The IMDB search plugin which I installed manually from the firefox browser did show up. So I ran Gnome-do from the console with the debug flag and triggered "Search Web". I immediately see the following log messages on the console

Since the IMDB plugin showed up, I figured I'd copy all the default plugins from /user/lib/firefox-3.6.3/searchplugins into /home/sud/.mozilla/firefox/o8hkwbnd.default/searchplugins/.

And sure enough I see the following messages get logged:

And now in gnome-do all the search plugins show up like they should. The icons don't show up though. So that seems to be a different issue.
