Bug Description

A large number of LOM metadata items can be generated automatically (see Appendix D of Schluep 2005, Modularization and Structured Markup for Web-Based Learning Content in an Accademic Environment):

- identifier: probably absolute URL of resource in dLCMS
- catalog: probably "URI"
- keywords: terms of Silva Document index item XML markup
- version: probably the Versioned Content versioning number
- publication status: "draft" (Silva draft), "final" (Silva published), "revised" (not available for dLCMS), "unavailable" (not available for dLCMS)
- creator: Silva creator
- publication date: Silva publication time
- metadata author: same as creator
- metadata creation date: same as publication date
- metadata last modified: same as publication date
- metadata scheme: "LOMv1.0" and "dLCMSv1.0", and "ADL SCORM 1.2" or "SCORM_CAM_v1.3" for SCORM export depending on the SCORM version.
- metadata language: same as language
- format: MIME types of the resources tied to the instance being described.
- size: size of all resources in bytes (size of the whole lesson, CE or Asset).
- location: resource URL (depending whether the resource is packaged or at an absolute position a relative or absolute URL)
- operating system: fixed to "Multi-OS"
- end user type: fixed to "learner"
- discipline type: based on discipline

Probably these items should be generated on the fly when these metadata items are requested, e.g. by the content packaging.
