AIGLX + totem outputs a blank screen

Bug Description

After I have installed AIGLX, totem only shows a glimpse of the video and goes back to a blank screen.

The only way I have managed to make totem show the videos was to set the output on the video tab of gstreamer-properties to "X Window System (No Xv)".

Thank you for your bug. What do you mean by "installed AIGLX"? The edgy xorg has aiglx available by default, what else did you install and how? What videodriver do you use? What videocard do you have? That looks like an Xv bug from your video driver

Hello Sebastien,

I'm using Dapper, installed on this way:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CompositeManager/AIGLXOnDapper

My video card is:
Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML

And I'm using the driver i810 with 24 depht of color on my xorg 7.0.0.

On gmplayer, I'm using the xv driver, ok?

Thanks a lot!

Sorry for the lack of info :) I'll try to explain better...

Actually, what I meant for "installed AIGLX" was that I had started beryl. I did that running beryl-manager from a terminal.

My video card is: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02).

If the problem happens only when running beryl that's a beryl bug, beryl is not packaged to Ubuntu yet so launchpad is not the right place for that bug, better to contact the people making the package you are using
