The audio is cut on high HD I/O

Bug Description

When I install packages (with Synaptic or Adept), the audio is cut.
When I move files, too, because the hard disc "itches".

¿Can you asign more priority on the sound than on the "HD"?

Note: This does not happen on Windows, I can move files and play music simultaneously.

Although you are not using Edgy and you're probably not suffering due to the issue mentioned there, have a look at https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel/2006-November/022684.html if you feel brave enough :)
