Bug Description
when changing the resolution in clone mode, the Compiz plugin "enhanced Desktop Zoom" doesn't work anymore.
for me, this can be avoided by switching in single display mode first (automatically changing the resolution) and going then to clone mode, e.g. this way by scripts:
#!/bin/bash
disper -S
disper -r "1280x1024" -c
exit 0
OR
#!/bin/bash
disper -s
disper -r "1920x1080" -c
exit 0
for the other direction.
(native resolution for s(ingle): 1920x1080
native resolution for S(econdary): 1280x1024)
So maybe this could be avoided after all?
(no need to hurry for me, my workaround works for me)
additional info:
disper 0.2.3
nvidia-
command I use which exhibits the problem (from 1280x1024 mode before):
~$ disper -r "1920x1080" -c -v
backend: nVidia
auto-detected displays: DFP-1, CRT-1
adding metamode: :: DFP-1: 1920x1080 +0+0, CRT-1: 1920x1080 +0+0
setting xinerama info order: DFP-1, CRT-1
switching to metamode 51: [1] 1920x1080 / 51
associating displays: DFP-1, CRT-1
