Bug Description
disper 0.3.1
linux mint 17.1 + cinnamon
Graphic card Mobility Radeon HD 4330/4350/4550 (Kernel driver in use: radeon)
"disper - l" says
-------
display DVI-0: DVI-0
resolutions: 800x600, 832x624, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1600x1200, 640x480
display HDMI-0: HDMI-0
resolutions: 720x400, 640x480, 720x480, 720x576, 800x600, 1024x768, 1440x576, 1280x720, 1360x768, 1280x1024, 1920x1080
-------
Automatic detection chooses 640x480 for the first display (wrong) and 1920x1080 for the second (correct)
May be this is the reason for the behavior described in the bug #840802.
--- Details ---
When I switch to the first display using "disper -s", it chooses the mode 640x480.
"disper -r 1600x1200 -s" as well as "disper -r max -s" works fine, choosing the right resolution of 1600x1200.
"disper -e" switches the first display to 640x480 (wrong) and the second to 1920x1080 (correct)
"disper -r max -e" works correct (1600x1200 and 1920x1080)
"disper -c" switches both displays to 640x480 (wrong)
"disper -r max -c" switches both displays to 1280x1024 (correct).
