I was wondering whether CoreOS will also be supported in the future.

Could you be more specific about what 'coreos support' means? We have a patch in flight to support building ACIs here: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/155484/. Is there more to DIB supporting coreos?

Some users asked us about CoreOs images. Of course one can simply follow

https://coreos.com/docs/running-coreos/platforms/openstack/

and use their images directly, but we would also like to customize few things, as we are currently doing with Ubuntu/Debian/Fedora and Centos, by building them with dib.

The point about directly supporting application containers is also a valid one.

Thanks Alessandro. CoreOS base os support would be great, but I don't believe anybody is working on it.
