Bug Description

Using diskimage-builder in Centos 7, Debian Wheezy image fails during grub install.

The command used is “DIB_RELEASE=wheezy disk-image-create vm debian -o debian-wb --offline > output 2>&1”, and the output has been attached. The error begins with: “The error is: “/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: unknown filesystem”

The grub-pc package for Wheezy is version 1.99-27+deb7u2. If Sid(unstable) release is used for the image creation, there is no error in Centos 7. Grub-pc package for Sid is 2.02~beta2-21.

Debian Wheezy image creation, same command, from a Debian Wheezy host instead of Centos7 successfully completes.

I'm still able to reproduce this on CentOS 7, though not on Ubuntu. It should be noted that wheezy is currently an obsolete stable release and the current stable appears to work, so I'm not sure if we care about this anymore. I'm going to close this issue and if it's still of importance the requestor or others can reopen.
