Hot Key not working on Ubuntu 16.04

I assigned F7 to be my hot key on ubuntu 16.04. Unfortunately nothing happens when I hit F7.

Since version 1.4.0 on the feature of the desktop environment is used to assign shortcuts which works much better.

I have also tested and F7 works without any problems.

Unfortunately this version has made it into Xenial official repository so therefore you will need to use the stable ppa https://launchpad.net/~diodon-team/+archive/ubuntu/stable
