Bug Description

On certain DEs zeitgeist-core is not installed per default. Diodon at this point doesn't depend on zeitgeist-core meaning when installed on those desktop environments it will start without any errors but then not add anything to the history.

So therefore for Diodon to properly run zeitgeist-core needs to be installed and the package should therefore force the installation of such.

zeitgeist-daemon has to be running in order to diodon receive clipboard content and mouse selections:
zeitgeist-daemon --replace

Diodon should inform user that it cannot work without zeitgeist-daemon running as espected both in stdout and in gui.
Thanks for great work, but looking for a lightweight replacement.

The Zeitgeist Dbus service Diodon connects to should automatically start zeitgeist-daemon and there shouldn't be a need to start zeitgeist-daemon manually.

This said most likely a different bug than this one. If you can reproduce the issue can you open a different bug stating what exact Linux distribution, desktop environment in what version you use?

We can then try to reproduce it and hopefully fix it.

Thanks for your feedback,
Oliver
