Bug Description
It makes sense for a plugin to be able to tell Diodon that the menu has been messed up and needs to be rebuilt. I have run into this a couple times myself. There are work arounds, such as adding an item then removing it, but the function is there we just need access to it.

Cannot hurt to have this method public. Changed and committed in lp:diodon. Will be released with next version 1.2.0.
