mkt campain based on contacts are not recorded in partner history

hi,

1) create a mkt campain sending emails based on the res.partner.contact object (i.e. sending mails to a segment of contacts)
2) execute the campaign and make sure workitems are generated

you will see that in the " marketing_campaign_workitem " table the column " partner_id " is not filled with any value, therefore the workitem will not be shown in the partner view history.
Setting the field manually (in the database) will then the correct the problem and the workitem will be shown in the partner history.

how to solve this problem ?

bug affects openerp 6.0.3 (at least).

problem solved.
because contact object has no direct ref to partner ID, the behaviour described is normal.
I therefore changed the "partner field" to "Main Employer" and now all works as required.
