big delay when pressing speakerphone icon on N4

On Nexus 4, when on an active call, pressing the speaker phone icon does nothing for a few seconds and then it switches. We should toggle the icon immediately upon press even if it takes the backend a while to respond so the user has instant feedback.

I am still experiencing this. I usually need to press the button several times and it can take as long as 15 to 20 secs to be usable.
