Bug Description

Binary package hint: libreoffice

1) lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Release: 12.04

2) apt-cache policy libreoffice-impress
libreoffice-impress:
  Installed: 1:3.5.3-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1:3.5.3-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 1:3.5.3-0ubuntu1 0

        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1:3.5.2-2ubuntu1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main i386 Packages

3) What is expected to happen in a blank Impress document:
Insert -> Movie and Sound... -> highlight spanish-zkracene.ogg -> checkbox Link checked -> button Open -> highlight the media object -> under Tasks click Custom Animation -> click Play and the file plays in it's entirety.

4) What happens instead is it plays the first 20% and then is cut off. However, it plays entirely in Slide Show.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific, step-by-step actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible),
3. and an example Impress and video file that does not play in Slide Show.

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for answer, open impress, create a new presentation -> insert -> Movie or sound -> insert sound (no matters if mp3, ogg, etc.), choose this square with sound, click on the "Play" button situated in the bottom of the impress window - no sound at all.
Also when presenting it doesn't work.
Example impress file: it can be just newly created presentation file.
Example of sound: Added as attachment.

Tommy_CZ, this is unreproducible in LibreOffice Impress in Slide Show mode. If I was in editing mode the first half second would play then the file would stop playing.
