Bug Description

Slovenian Ubuntu LibreOffice (default installation) does not contain Slovenian thesaurus, but all Slovenian OOo/AOO/LO packages since 3.1 do, so there must be some error when the packaging happens on the Ubuntu side.

The latest version of all Slovenian dictionaries is in the LO code and available also at the LO extensions repository (last year we did some updates also to the hyphenation, these changes might not be included, but I cannot confirm this):
http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/slovenian-dictionary-pack

Please do package the Slovenian thesaurus with Ubuntu LibreOffice, it is an official part of the LibreOffice!

Thanks, m.

no longer affects: ubuntu-defaults-it

Not a bug in upstream LibreOffice, but in the Ubuntu packaging. Adding Ubuntu package, closing as invalid for upstream project.

May I add that this is a blocker for the Slovenian LibreOffice on Ubuntu - no Slovenian thesaurus means that a promised feature is missing.

Artur, where is this exactly committed? Please do not change status without explanation.

Hi, I would like to know about the resolution to this bug - does it mean that it now contains the thesaurus or not?

Thanks.

What exactly is missing? libreoffice-l10n-sl clearly states: "Spelling dictionaries, hyphenation patterns, thesauri and help are not included in this package. There are some available in separate packages (myspell-*, hyphen-*, mythes-*, libreoffice-help-*)". see: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/trusty/+package/libreoffice-l10n-sl

Also the package already suggests as such:
Suggests: hunspell-dictionary-sl | myspell-dictionary-sl,
          hyphen-sl,
          libreoffice-grammarcheck-sl,
          libreoffice-help-sl,
          mythes-sl

Changed in libreoffice (Ubuntu):
status: Triaged → Incomplete
