Google contact sync

Dexter needs to have 2-way sync with Google contacts. I will create a simple api, and a timer that other syncing services can hook into.

Sorry i'll re-push it, i forgot to remove my gmail password from the file :D that's why, maybe you should write the API first then i'll write the functions depending on what we need.

Adnane, I haven't decided on how the API will work yet. Seeing the kind of data that google will be sending and receiving can help me narrow it down.

Isn't this going to be provided by an existing sync implementation for evolution-data-server?

evolution-data-server is not needed!

Pavlo: not needed but dexter is going to be rewritten in GTK3, Vala and evolution-data-server anyway, so we get Google sync for free.

hey people I can create a "plugin" in python which save in a file all the google contacts from an account. I have just created a script to do it and if someone of you are interested to this solution can send me a private message or, if you like, we can continue to talk about this problem here

1. If you already have the script, you should publish it rather than offer it via PM. Remember, this is open source.

2. evolution-data-server seems to be the preferred idea.

I would like if I could put my Google account details in just one place, and all the appropriate elements of the Elementary OS would use these details (e.g. Google Contacts for Dexter, Gmail for Postler email settings, Google Talk for Empathy, etc).
