webapp generator does not work, "This page encountered an error"

The webapp generator at https://developer.ubuntu.com/webapp-generator/
is not able to generate a click package.

When clicking "Submit", it gives the error

           This page encountered an error, don't worry - we have been notified. Please accept our apologies.

Two people tried today the webapp generator and it did not work, with different browsers, cleaning cookies, etc.

i have the same problem did al of the things like cleaning coocies diffrent brouwsers differnt locaties and computers even clean installed pc.

nothing seems to work

still has the issue this is not a good way to attract starting ubuntu users, i my self use ubuntu on phone and pc on day to day basis and if i had the time would go for the desktop app builder.

havent got the time to get on with the desktop app builder so i desided to go with the web generator that has not worked from when i got in my ubuntu phone 3 to 4 weeks ago.

Fix committed , that suddenly doesn't work anymore or has not worked at all who knows.

Please fix it i wat to try the web app generator, and see in what kind of code the web apps come out so maybe when i got the time i can get started with the desktop version.

@michel: Current, this report is at the stage "Fix committed", which is not the final stage.
Once the status changes to "Fix released", then the webapp generator will work again.
I hope this happens in the following days.

I hope the fix will be deployed soon, in the meantime, you can use http://developer.staging.ubuntu.com/webapp-generator/

Note that the page will be down from time to time.
