Bug Description
In bug #827490 we added a field to allow the developer to suggestion a version number. However application updates do not go through MyApps after the application is published (aside from uploading a new version). Therefore there is no way to update the version number in the SCA after the application is published.
For instance, TextAdventure 2012 was published as a 1.0 version. The developer uploaded a new version (1.1) which in turn was packaged and released, however the SCA was not updated with the new version number and the SCA as well as the web catalog continues to show 1.0 which confuses the end user to thinking the app is not up to date.
Solution: Provide a mechanism to accept or reject suggested versions or discontinue the use of version number in the web catalog.
