Bug Description
The client code for talking to pkgme-service is currently copied into our config branch, which means we don't get updates when the api is updated, and is in general a terrible idea.
The client code has been separated out into its own project, lp:pkgme-service-python so we should either package that up and deploy it to sca/devportal's app servers, or pull it in as a sourcedep.

I don't see it in sca-configmanager, otherwise I'd probably do it just now.
If you want it as a sourcedep, remember that it needs piston_mini_client for the bit that devportal uses today, and Twisted (python-twisted-web in Ubuntu) for the other bits.
If you want it packaged, let us know.
