Bug Description
I just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty alpha 4. I did a apt-get update and a apt-get install ubuntu-
The lower gnome panel fills up with an increasing amount of icons. I think they were referring to File Manager.
A "ps" in a terminal didn't reveal any unusual amount of processes. "top" reveals that the top three processes (compiz.real, Xorg, nautilus) uses 13, 8 and 7% CPU, but the total is 75%. I get a warning about the mixer applet being a problem as well. After a minute or two, the system is totally unresponsive.
I have tried turning off all compiz acceleration, but that didn't help. If I use a regular gnome desktop, there are no problems.
