Binary package hint: deskbar-applet

After a recent update, the deskbar appears without text entry in the panel, and there seems to be no option for turning the text field back on.

It looks like this "updated version" results in a serious loss in functionality. Is there any way to backport the older deskbar up to gutsy, or will that screw up dependencies? Why are we "upgrading" to this version, anyway?

This change changes Deskbar from mature and usable application to rough developer preview from user's point of view. In my opinion, Ubuntu should stick with older, more polished, versions of software, if new versions break UI (the same case is file roller's bug #13199).

Ubuntu maintainers, please go through comments at upstream bug and consider shipping older version in gutsy.
