LiveCD: logout->restart needs user message

Bug Description

Using dapper-live I clicked on Logout -> Restart. The computer showed some shutdown messages and ejected the CD and then just waited.
The computer will just sit there until one hits the enter key, at which time the computer will restart. The computer needs to show a message informing the user that the computer is restarting and waiting for the user to either remove the LiveCD or to hit the enter key.

Are you sure you're using the latest live cd? There should be a message
(and iirc the cd isn't even ejected anymore...)

Yes I'm sure, perhaps you should try out the latest version of dapper-live and compare it with breezy-live.

In breezy-live when one chooses to restart, the computer drops to text mode and ejects the cd and prints out a text message suggesting that the user remove the cd and press the enter key to restart.

In dapper-live when one chooses to restart, the computer stays in it's graphical mode, puts out some shutdown messages, ejects the cd, and just waits. The last two lines say:
Stopping system log daemon ...... ok
Sending all processes the TERM signal ...
