Bug Description

Hardware: Dell XPS 13 2016 model no. 9360
Touchpad DLL075B:01 06CB:76AF Touchpad
OS KUBUNTU

Description:

- The touchpad works ok for a while, then after some time it stops responding to finger input.
- There seems to be a correlation bwetween the touchpad failure and a running a heavy program, like LIBREOFFICE.
- Plugging in an extenral mouse is a solution (of sorts).
- After suspend, or after reboot, the touchpad resumes normal activity.

Hello,

There were no proposals for a fix.

I am now using a mouse, because the tochpad "decided" to quit responding. This is quite annoying!

Any prospect of a solution?

Update: after rebooting today the touchpad worked for a few minutes. Then, in the middle of using FIREFOX, the pointer got stuck. I was forced to connect the mouse.

PLEASE HELP!!! this is a ridiculous situation.
