PS: I have previously tried to find an avenue to report bugs to the upstream maintainer, including sending direct e-mail. So far, I have been unsuccessful. I will likely upload a fixed version of the program to my PPA repository at some point in the near future so that there will at least be a working version available.

I installed aircraft- manager- 12.1 from my Jaunty PPA on my standard Dell Ubuntu dell mini using 'apt-get -b source' and it works as expected. I had to pin to this version in /etc/apt/ preferences, because apt wants to upgrade to belmont11 without the pin.
Here is the location of my PPA: https:/ /launchpad. net/~opensource -subakutty/ +archive/ ppa
I hope these changes will be adopted upstream.
