Bug Description

Hi there,

I love config my bash environment on my own, but the configurations I did on my dell-mini 12 laptop are reflashed to defaults when I reboot the computer. Specifically:

 - Colors & fonts for bash console.
   I use a special set of colors and fonts which are restored to defaults when I reboot.
 - Environment vars.
   I set the pager environment var as "export PAGER=`which most`", but when I reboot, the pager is the default one instead of being most.

$ uname -a
Linux myhost 2.6.24-19-lpia #1 SMP Mon Nov 3 15:25:26 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

I use GNOME as desktop.
