when user switches between the 'dell desktop' and 'classic desktop', it seems to forget any extra icons or changes made to the other desktop's panel.
the same applies to the 'dell desktop' - when user goes 'classic' and comes back, all user's changes to 'dell desktop' panels have been forgotten.
