Bug Description

After many frustrating attempts I found that my NAS places the home folders down the path "/shares/mike/backup" not the expected /home or even as I would really expect that I just start in my home dir if I log in as a named user. - so easy when you finally see the answer. I had just been assuming I was in my home folder.

Anyway how this matters to Dej Dup is that it would be fantastic if the first time I enter a remote (or any location) the dialog shows me the remote directories available to that login and lets me select the folder from the GUI with the mouse.

Working it out blind in Dej-dup is hard as there is little feed back from deja-dup what is wrong, if I did not know how to ftp,ssh etc from the command line I would have been lost. If I were able to get "logged in" and then pick folders I would at least know where I was going wrong.
Description:Ubuntu 11.10
deja-dup 20.1-0ubuntu0.2
duplicity 0.6.15-0ubuntu2
