Bug Description
On Ubuntu oneiric (development branch) in Unity-2D (computer is unable to run unity-3D, so I can't confirm this), when you summon the dash Deja Dup isn't there - it's "backup"
This has the potential to confuse existing deja-dup users when they upgrade to Oneiric, they're used to searching "deja dup" in the Dash, but it won't show up in 11.10.
Versions:
deja-dup 19.91-0ubuntu3
duplicity 0.6.15-0ubuntu2

Thanks for the bug, and you are right that it might create a bit of confusion, but the change is intentional.
Starting with release 20, the goal is to be a more integrated and invisible part of the user experience. More a feature of the OS than a standalone app. Part of that is debranding.
We do set keywords for searching for "Deja Dup" in such things like the dash. But, at least for Unity, it's blocked on bug 828356.
