Bug Description
Instead of having to run deja-dup in command line with DEJA_DUP_DEBUG=1, add an option in the preferences to activate debug log under /var/log/ (or maybe a different path). It could be used to log different level of information (INFO, WARNING, DEBUG).

While we're talking about log files, I would like to express my opinion that there should always be a log file containing just the basics: the start time, end time, and result of every backup session; the results text should be the same as the text in the popup that is displayed when the backup session ends.
In my opinion, there should also be a button at the top, next to "All Settings" and "Backups", that says "History". Clicking "History" should display the log file containing the basic backup history.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Déjà Dup!
