Bug Description
deja-dup 14.0.2-0ubuntu1
duplicity 0.6.08b-0ubuntu2
Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch)
I want to backup to machine "myth", share "agrover", path "backup/bell".
When I select "connect to server", I input these three things into "server", "share", and "folder" fields. However, it does not remember the folder, so the backup occurs to the root of the share //myth/agrover, instead of //myth/
This also happens when I put server = "myth" and share = "agrover/

There are two things going on here:
1) You 'connect to server' and the full path/server isn't immediately selected in the drop down (this is bug 460656, which this bug is now a dup of)
2) It sounds like you did notice that issue and selected the server from the drop down. This only selects the root folder of the server (this is just how file drop downs work). To select the subfolder again, you need to select 'Other...' and navigate to it.
Fixing bug 460656 would make this whole experience way better. Am waiting on nautilus developers to review my patch to fix.
